Familiar to families over several generations, TARZAN: THE STAGE MUSICAL tells the story of an infant boy orphaned in a shipwreck on the shores of West Africa. The child is taken in and raised by gorillas, who name him Tarzan. He strives for acceptance from his ape father, but gradually finds his place within the family, until a human expedition treks into his tribe’s territory and he encounters creatures like himself for the first time. Tarzan discovers his animal upbringing clashes with his human instincts as he realises that there is a world beyond his jungle.
Premiering in Toowoomba in 2020 and presented by the multiple award-winning Toowoomba Choral Society Youth Choir, Tarzan is a show you won’t want to miss!
