The first and most famous story of The Chronicles of Narnia has become a musical presentation of this unique, enchanted world filled with creatures and spirits of myth and fable, both good and evil.
In Narnia, there are intelligent talking animals and an evil White Witch who has made it winter all year round (but never Christmas). They were all once ruled by King Aslan, the great lion of Narnia, though he has been absent for so long that some creatures have begun to doubt his existence. Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are staying with their Uncle during World War II and find the way to the land of Narnia through a Wardrobe. They have adventures beyond their wildest imagination and help the good Narnians to fight the evil White Witch and her Cruelies (bad Narnians).
The story takes us on a journey from War-torn London to a battle of a different kind where the children and the Narnians help each other to learn lessons of courage, unselfishness and wisdom that will help them grow. Narnia wants to sing, and from the excitement of the opening song, “Aslan’s on the Move,” to the joy of “Narnia (You Can’t Imagine),” your spirits will soar with all those in Narnia.
Brought to you by Toowoomba Choral Society Youth Choir, NARNIA the Musical is a show not to be missed and will delight audiences both young and old.
